Filmed during the final gathering of the Culture in the Civic Space programme in Fayoum, Egypt, in spring 2026, this short documentary by Hassala Films brings together voices from the region reflecting on what it means to support cultural work in the civic space and the role of field supporters. Through their experiences and perspectives, they question prevailing funding practices, explore the relationships between resources and local realities, and reflect on what more reciprocal and meaningful forms of field support could look like.
