What does it mean to support a field – not just through outputs or projects, but through presence, relationships, and long-term thinking?

Each of the twelve participating organizations are exploring this question in their own way. Some are rethinking how resources circulate – experimenting with alternative funding models, mobility schemes, or community-rooted approaches to sustainability. Others are stepping into connective roles: holding spaces for reflection, cultivating ecosystems of care, linking artists, knowledge holders, and communities.

These small-scale experiments are shaped by listening, informed by deep context, and driven by a desire to try something different.

These efforts are in conversation with each other, with their communities, and with the shifting realities of the region. Each one responds to a particular need or tension.  All are part of a wider search for ways of working that respond to the present while reimagining how we relate, organize, and sustain interdependence – and make room for the not-yet-known.
